It is here at Olu Deniz that you will find "The Blue Lagoon" so called for the colour of the water in this natural protected
inlet of sea where the water is always blue and warm due to their being no direct tidal flow in to the lagoon.
The beautiful Olu Deniz beach with it's famous "Blue Lagoon".
Olu Deniz Beach is probably the most famous and most photographed beach area in Turkey if not Europe.
It is the beach pictures of Olu Deniz that feature in many of the travel and tourist brochures.
The beach and resort of Olu Deniz with beach front bars, restaurants and shops are approximately 3km from the hotel which can easily be reached by the free hotel daily bus or by the regular, inexpensive Dolmus bus service which leaves from the end of the road approximately 300m away.
Olu Deniz the resort has many beachfront bars and restaurants and the main resort behind the beach is a
hive of shops, cafe's and hotels.

you can see the tandem paragliders land right on the beach front having thrown themselves of the 6,500ft
Babadag Mountain that over looks the beach and coastline.
